The most important thing to know in data recovery:

Procedure For Data Recovery

1. Inspect Drive For Damage & Record Damage As Well As The State Of The Drive And/Or Device.
2. Attempt Or Successfully Clone The Drive
3. If The Drive Does Not Have Power, Locate The Board Or Mechanism Used For Providing Power and Replace It Such As A Power Board Or The Culprit May Be The Power Source Prior To The Hard Drive Such As A Wall Outlet Or Power Supply Unit.
4. If The Drive Receives Power But The Computer Cannot Locate The Drive, Clone The Drive & Run Software To Locate The Missing Information.
